Biking to Metsamor's Phalli

During the early iron age Metsamor was one of the royal cities of Ararat Valley. Metsamor is world famous for its copper foundry - the first and the best preserved one in the history of mankind. Among the artifacts found in Metsamor is an agate weight-stone in the form of a frog and sardoinic seal. Metsamor's archeological museum is situated next to the ancient castle of Metsamor. Here we will see the long awaited phalli of Metsamor and we'll learn about the history of veneration of phalli.

Biking Tour Around Ara Mountain

At last we are going to have our long-awaited tour this time around Ara Mountain (for the second time).

We will take the train to Hrazdan, after which we will ride our bikes until we find a nice beach. The return is by bikes only.

This time will go to Kasakh gorge, where the cold river awaits us. After that we will continue to Echmiadzin and return to Yerevan.

Biking to Aghveran

We should be at HVZ bicycle repair workshop on Sunday at 7:00 in order to catch the 8:20 train from Kanaker station.

The route is the following:
HVZ workshop (Leningradyan 31) - Kanaker railway station - take the train to Charentsavan, after which we ride our bikes to Charentsavan - Alapars - Arzakan - Aghveran and the return route is Aghveran - Arzakan - Karashamb - Argel - Nurnus - Nor Geghi - Arzni - Yerevan
